The All-New Toro TITAN MAX is a mix of the Toro Commercial 2000 Series and the Toro Titan Residential mowers. The frame is straight out of theToro Commercial 2000 Series with a tubular steel frame and grade 50 hardened 10-gauge steel. The Mower Deck is an IronForged high strength grade 10-gauge steel deck with bull nose reinforced leading-edge found of some other Titan models.

The Toro Titan Max has a 26HP Kohler 747cc 7000 Series engine with a canister air cleaner. This is a carbureted engine that starts easily and provides a great amount of power. At full-throttle, the TITAN MAX has a Blade Tip Speed of 18,908+ ft/min (5763.2+ m/min). The 60″ fabricated 10 ga. deck has height of cut adjustments from 1.5″ – 5.0″ in 0.25″ increments. Also as found on commercial mowers, the Discharge Chute on the TITAN MAX is Rubber.

Getting the power to the ground is 23″ by 12″ wide Kenda tires that set the aggressive tone to this beast of a machine. It is clear by comparing the TITAN MAX to all the other residential zero-turn mowers that Toro aimed this machine to dominate the residential market. The transmissions in the TITAN MAX are HydroGear ZT3100’s and they have plenty of power to turn the 23″ tires and push this machine to a max of 9 mph.

The TITAN MAX does not have a suspension seat standard, but the seat included is absolutely amazing. Comfort was not forgotten when Toro designed this machine. The rubber mat on the footwell is pinned in place so to will not move. The deck lift pedal is rounded for better comfort. Almost every piece of this machine was upgraded over the standard TITAN series.

The hour meter on the TITAN MAX also has indicators that let you know what safety switched are locked so the machine can be easily started. There is no guessing in what needs to happen in order for the machine to start. The throttle is smooth and engine response is gradual. There is a clear detent in the throttle when wide open is reached. These pieces were clearly taken from the commercial side of Toro’s lineup.

The current MSRP of this machine is $5,999. That is a great deal for the machine you are getting. If you have a large yard or acreage to maintain, this machine is worth a hard look!
