to make the cure to fix that reality plus has this belief that nothing matters because
he can go to a reality where it didn't happen as proven in
(Rickternal Friendshine Of The Spotless Mort) if you skip in to (12:26)
he is caught saying that nothing else matters because infinite possibilities
rick basically has the mindset of to hell with that dimension we will just go to
another one and doesn't even make an attempt to copy the cure from the new dimension
(which he could have done theoretically)
also morty doesn't question it because he's in shock and cant think straight also
morty is just kinda dumb anyways and that could've just not crossed his mind at that moment
but what your saying is factual they really could have done that

Well I can 100% tell the writers obviously haven’t seen the season 5 finale cause the questions in “no.5 the citadel” and “no.7 citadel citizens” have been explained in the S5 finale and as for the part about ricks fake out origin story in “no.6 Beth’s life” that was retconed to be ricks official origin story in the S5 finale too
