This was such a great matchup and a great battle with really good interactions and good uses of their abilities! Possibly the best non-finale episode of the entire series!
I do feel like JoJo had a slightly unfair advantage thanks to Zeppeli essentially just giving him decades worth of power he'd otehrwise need to get from experience and training. If Tanjiro had ever been given a similar insta-boost gift, I think things would have been quite different.
Mostly though this feels like if Batman just killed Robin. They were two heroes that fought with the power of the sun, and mastered breathing, to fight demons. JoJo should have adopted Tanjiro as his boy wonder and they could have fought villains together… It would have been so lovely. I hate that the ending you gave us has made me so sad and I can't shake it off. It's got me tearing up.
