I'm hyped for this, I think this will be the push for Star Wars TV that they need after Boba Fett and Kenobi. I hope for Jabba The Hutt, Christopher Lloyd as Hondo, Vader, Galen Erso, Grand Moss Tarkin. I think K-2SO is the second main character that they are hiding from marketing like the other Star Wars Live Action Shows Before (Mando – Grogu, Boba Fett – Mando, Kenobi – Leia).

I wonder if somewhere down the line in this series, if we’ll see how Saw becomes the physically and mentally decrepit version of him we see in Rogue One, considering Rebels didn’t cover that transition necessarily.
0:17, not sure if anyone else noticed but those are clones, you can tell from the armour, this means it will be partly set during the clone wars.

What if Andor witnesses the Mandalorian Purge….
You know what I'm itching to see in one of these shows? The Droid Gotra. Start threading them into the universal storyline, even if it comes as a secondary, or even tertiary, plot thread to start weaving into everything.
I would not be surprised if the weapon Sabine designed for the Imps is involved somehow
One of the best parts of the Rogue One trilogy books was the look at different Rebel factions that make up the Rebel Alliance, and how differently their structures and tactics and philosophies can be from one another — which really drove home that the Rebel ALLIANCE is, y'know, an alliance of Rebel groups and not this huge perfectly cohesive unit that's challenging the Empire. There's a lot of room here to explore this aspect which the books brought up but which didn't make the cut when cramming material into a single movie.
Note: I found Solo, and particularly what it did with Enfys Nest as but a sliver of a Rebel group that might unite under a single Alliance, much more enjoyable having read the Rogue One books first and seeing the conflicts going on between rebel groups that had to come together under a greater alliance to strengthen their opposition success against the Empire.
Only Dathon I know is Picard and Dathon at El-Adrel from the Darmok episode of Star Trek TNG.
