I love how Rick can mind control anyone and get them to do anything just by inventing it, yet he decided to annoy Jessica by drunk calling her until she agreed to help him. She probably resisted at first, then not seeing Morty for a few days, probably got curious as to why Rick was calling her, found out how smart he is, and started feeling lonely without Morty around. An equally unhealthy obsession on Jessica’s part for an ego boost in looks and status, which depleted over time without Morty, making her feel useless. So eventually instead of insulting Rick “did you get a new Morty yet” she agrees to help him. And then Morty is so happy to see both of them care, which instigates an argument between Jessica and Rick about who doesn’t care more about Morty, making the loser of the argument care more about Morty.
I kinda like how you rarely see a static character in this show. When Morty was saying 'n-not anymore', you will barely notice Jacqueline's little head and eyebrow motions to show some disappointment. Little things that make the show feel alive
One of the few episodes where Jessica gets a little bit of actual characterization. Plus her dynamic with Rick arguing about Morty was actually pretty funny.
It sucks that all this character development between Morty and Jessica doesn’t seem to matter anymore since in Season 4 it seems like they’re back to square one.
The bit with Jessica arguing with Rick is enough to show me that she could be interesting enough on her own and she doesn't have to just be used as the object of Morty's desires. Give me a Rick and Jessy episode.
At 0:36 morty sells 1,500,00 shares at 33.00 USD (assuming USD.) If he was working at a wallstreet firm, and let's say he's new since it was 3 weeks later he will probably make 1% commission. So in essence he just made 495,000 dollars off one sale. Confident morty was probably a millionaire, and technically that makes Regular Morty a possible millionaire.
1:19 I didn’t catch that the first time, the fact Morty was so healthy that he let rick track him by leaving the phone on because he knew it was unhealthy to stay that way.
I think there was/is an opportunity to add another comedic element to the show. Since Jessica was always nice (for the most part) to Morty, it is plausible that they actually do end up dating. Say that happens, and she occasionally comes along on adventures (not too much to get in the way, kinda like Beth or Summer). But, every time she is there, she calls out Rick on his BS and the two of them always have some sort of feud in the background because she doesn't let him get away with his crap, especially if it involves harming Morty. I'm pretty sure Roliand/Harmon could write it similar to this scene and have it work well. It would give Morty a win by getting his girl and wouldn't necessarily eliminate a comedic element that is Morty going after Jessica, but would kind of transfer it to Jessica getting under Rick's skin. Again, not all the time to make it too much and they would have to write it in such a way that Jessica doesn't turn into an annoying character. I think that Roliand/Harmon could more than pull it off given how this scene was written
I think Morty deep inside wanted his old life back. You can see it on how he knew that Rick was tracing him, yet he didn't hang up, and when Jacqueline tell him he didn't do it, he just answered with an ironic 'how about that? '.

I really hope there's a Morty that stayed healthy because Morty didn't deserve to have that life taken from him.
Huh I don't remember this episode
I need this alpha confidence
Morty became a that slayer for 2 seconds there and boom gone
Just shows how horrible rick is to morty 1:30

So I’m guessing confident Morty didn’t hang up because he wanted to get caught by rick?
Wow morty was successful
If only detoxification was available

Healthy Morty returns when he replays Jessica in the new episode like a **** shiny Pokémon. Ruined that relationship.
Ooooowee
Future would be proud of this Morty
You can't keep the drone they turn into a little voltron bot they're awesome….you can't keep the drone…
I mean I don't blame rick
"You can't keep the drones."
Anyone else think evil Morty is just ‘healthy” Morty’s body with toxic Rick’s mind shoved into it?

The most annoying thing i found in this episode was how Morty kept saying "Mmm This Organic?" In the way he said it was so irritating
Wait rick can find anybody in the multiverse but he needs a phone tracker to find morty??
