Netflix live action One Piece is the only Netflix show coming out I have any hope for. The show runners and writers actually are fans of the material and know their stuff but the real question is will Netflix meddle and fuck it all up. I’m hopeful but honestly won’t hold my breath.
Hey dude, 100% agree with your points. If you haven't already you should check out the Resident Evil Welcome to Raccoon City. It respects the original plot in many ways while adding their creative spin to make the story moving in a way that makes sense for a movie rather than a game. It's worth the watch IMO.
The only episode that was decent was the last one. The first episodes every scene looked like a movie set instead of being immersive. The actors weren't bad but looked bad bc they didn't reshoot enough. They put all their money into the alligator.
I just saw that a live action Fullmetal Alchemist is about to drop on 20th of august.

The halo show was way better than the Netflix Resi. I mean that's not saying slot but yah.
The only live action movie i liked was detective Pikachu. I also respect(didn't like it but respect) the sonic live action for litterally changing Sonics design throughout the film. Probably took alot of money to redo that, but they defineitly made there money back.
Why won't netflix try to actually research the original source material instead of just writing a show (a bad one at that) than using the name of popular series it's not like resident evil is a game where you can access it through some software and play it
