Jeff Bezos is bringing the dead back to life
In 2014, Jeff Bezos announced a new piece of tech that shocked the world. People were calling it the most dangerous threat to privacy since the webcam. The device, named Echo, was the world’s first virtual assistant in a speaker.
But because of 2 problems, Amazon wasn’t able to break a million sales in its first year.
Users said Alexa was both useless and creepy. So over the next few years, Alexa’s AI went from one hundred to one hundred thousand skills. This solved problem 1, but Jeff still needed to solve problem 2.
So Jeff put together a plan.
The original plan was harmless. Amazon would train Alexa to mimic celebrities like Samuel L Jackson. But Amazon’s just announced a change in plan.
And some say this crosses the line.
Amazon’s new goal is to “make the memories last” after “so many of us lost someone we love”. So Amazon is developing a system to let Alexa mimic any voice after hearing less than a minute of audio.
And in doing so,

Honestly that would be really nice.
Hitler : WHATS UP BITCHES
Nah as long elon musk keeps creating robots were good
"Adaptive circuits engaged"
Nah, hell nah, fuck no, i'm moving to a diffrent universe, bye guys!
Nah… Nah nah nah. I just lost like- 3-4 people in 2020-2021, and we just lost a few good people this year too. Looking around at the people left, they JUST let go. Hearing the Echo mimic your dead grandfather or favorite celebrities voice is not only creepy, but defeats the point of letting that person go. You want to keep their legacy and your thoughts of them alive? Keep them to your memory, it is enough. A person only dies, when everyone forgets they exist.
Nope fuck that shit
Necromancy
If Jeff does this then people who have lost someone like myself might talk to it as they are actually Alive, it isn't something I'd do but think about it.
You miss someone so much you begin to talk to Alexa as ur loved one, over and over again you get attached to it.
Its a horrible idea to think about, and imagine walking in on an old lady talk to her "husband" who's dead directly to Alexa.
Shits too creepy for me.
"Give all your dreams and thoughts to us, we wont use them against you to keep you in control."
Why don't we just accept the fact that we are mortal. Just it's difficult to accept, you can have your fantasies Jeff Bezos, but focus on what nature intends: everything is mortal: nothing is forever. Our loved ones will die, and that will be with you forever, regardless an alexa can mimic them or not.
Echo still sucks.period
Oooo time for some horror movie shiz
Theres literally 1000 reasons to not mess with dead people or anything like that but some dumba*s who thinks their the sh*t wants to do it anyway for no other reason other than they think they can
Chef Bezos

Imagine you come home and hear Alexa talking in a unfamiliar voice
This crosses the line could u imagine ur 3 year old talking with Alexa bc she thought it was u?
Na bro I would kill to have a Samuel L Jackson Alexa
They're stucked in denial.
That is similar with takin a pic or video of your late love one. Or hearing them voice on the record this is just the same. But it just improvement. Like i see no problem here in fact i one it. To hear your late love one voice that dope

At least fix the title , we wouldn't believe a bald billionaire revive a dead
We can bring back techno blade in a way now
Steins gate zero be like:
Honestly… As long it's not going to appear randomly and possibly cause more sadness, it might be a nice thing to have for when you want to hear their voice. I'm not against it happening if you have to ask Alexa to speak
That would be so fucked up. Imagine hearing Alexa mimic the voice of your loved ones and then giving you a good morning message, it would be sad but its pretty fucked up that Alexa is mimicking someone you lost, you wake up thinking that its the person but they're actually not there, then would make you sad and depressed because they're gone.
Also imagine hearing a dead significant other's voice while you've already moved on to someone new and they ask "that's not Alexa, who's voice is that?" It can ruin a relationship because your SO would think that you haven't moved on and is still thinking of them while you're in a new relationship
Everybody gangsta til we have an alexa-army of Yodas
Alexa is just a data collection device. It doesn't exist for your convenience it exists for Amazon's convenience
Can't wait to be framed for murder
