Whats better the speedflows or the portal
Jaymike was spot on with everything. The version with laces has ZERO lockdown in the toe box but the midfoot feels like its gonna squeeze your feet in half.

anyone actually play with these boosts? been adidas my entire life, tried the predators and couldnt use em…hate to go superfly 9 but just want a nice boot. Never really judged myself as a thin or wide footed player, but always going with adidas prob means my feet are more on the wide size. Thanks

Hey Jay. You said these felt longer than the speedflows. Watching your Speedflow review, you mentioned that went with UK 6 sizing, but with the Speedportals you are wearing UK 6.5. Isn't normal for the boots to feel longer when you went half a size up??

I saw this at Adidas instagram
So would it be better to spend the extra 50 dollars or so to get the Speedportal.1’s or would it be better to get the older Speedflow.1’s which are cheaper as they are on sale. I am a bit concerned about the durability of the Speedflow.1’s after reading a few reviews so I am kind of on the fence. If anyone can help/give me some advice it would be greatly appreciated.

I’m actually a really big fan! And I feel like it’s going to grown on me even more over time. Reminds me of the first time I saw the F50’s and I liked them then over time, I really liked them…
Out of the legendary rivalry we can see that Puma is truly doing bits with the new ultra and future, Nike has been revolutionary with the new mercurial while Adidas fucked up the predator line and didn’t really improve anything on the speedportal (you’re better off buying a speedflow .1 on discount now it’s end of season). Looks like adidas admits they’ve run out of ideas and are just taking reckless gambles now.
Apart from the soleplate. It doesn’t look like a big upgrade from the speedflow.
Seems Adidas went sideways going by the review instead of forward.
